Mykala Patal builds worlds the way other people build excuses-loudly, lovingly, and far too often.

Her shelves are full of Zaunite enforcers, attic-haunted survivors, vampire kings who forgot how to rule, demons playing father figure, and girls who can see too much and lose themselves doing it. She collects characters like strays: the broken, the feral, the sharp-edged ones who don’t fit anywhere except on her page.

Patal writes in vignettes, in fever-dreams, in midnight-lab notes. Anticipate short stories that bite, OCs with more trauma than sense, and lore deep enough to be lost in. She likes to write morally skewed heroes, villains who almost make sense, and universes that warp when looked at for too long.
