Lisa Freeman was in films such as Back to the Future I and II and Mr. Mom, which led to her career in writing. Her creative pursuits focus on the LGBTQI community.

She has an MFA in Fiction and Pedagogy in the Art of Writing. Sky Pony Press published Lisa’s first two young adult novels, Honey Girl and Riptide Summer. The Sisters of Sand series blends historical fiction with surf mythology, captivating readers of all ages.

The only thing straight about Lisa is her hair. She shares her life with Phranc, her partner of 29 years, and their children.
