Elizabeth Baizel is a writer from upstate New York who often discovers her stories while running forest trails and hopes they’re still waiting for her by the time she returns to her coffee. Living in the Adirondacks, surrounded by mountains, dense woods, and long winters, she draws inspiration from the quiet eeriness of nature, small-town folklore, and the strange ways ordinary life can brush up against the fantastical.
