Derek Moreland is a freelance writer living in Texas with one wife, four cats, three dogs, and an absolute buttload of X-Men comics.

He is the author of Songweaver: The Temptation of Tanith Ven, Stranded on Dinosaur Planet, the Shmonster the Monster series, and the comic book Space is Awful. Additionally, he has published a collection of short horror and speculative fiction, All the Things We Bury.
